I'm a programmer working with Unity3D. I've been working on an abstract science fiction first-person shooter with western, horror, and film noir elements since my senior year of high school (fall 2009). While each of those elements may look like pointless buzzwords, the individual ideas do coalesce into something beautiful. No one seems to trust my skill, however, so I decided to take on a smaller project, which I have codenamed TopsyTurvy. Right now I feel like I need to prove something to the world, and I hope this feeling never fades.
The motto I live by is "action speaks louder than words," and I talk very loudly.

| If players gravitate towards certain undesired behaviors, such as spawnkilling and camping, put measures into the game that incentivize playing the game as it was originally intended. |

It may be hard to ... It may be hard to innovate every year, but if you can then clones will not largely impact business. Personally I don't like condemning people for clones because you cannot draw a line. When some people inadvertently copy and others deliberately copy, it can be hard to tell who is ... |

Note how quickly the cartoonishly ... Note how quickly the cartoonishly mercenary plagiarism-focused culture of social games turned a bright spot of burgeoning innovation into an endless red ocean of clone after clone within a mere handful of years. Such a wasteland fails to grow the market and ultimately leads to less consumer choice. Reminds me ... |

Comment In: Can Zero Point Make The Minecraft Of Shooters? [News - 05/18/2012 - 06:14]

Awww, I wanted to make ... Awww, I wanted to make the Minecraft of shooters. Pseudo-sarcasm aside, IM definitely has good graphics and even better sound, but they also need to polish their gameplay if multiplayer is their number one goal. I personally think the next shooter to minimize camping behavior will attract a massive crowd. ... |

The following quote feels out ...
