For immediate release

Hamburg, February 8, 2012. Daedalic Entertainment and Deep Silver present a video-teaser for the PC-game The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, in which sequences of the game are shown. The gripping The Dark Eye-Adventure takes place in the familiar fantasy world Aventuria. In the tranquil Andergast the protagonist Geron gets on to the track of a mysterious crow plague and, with the help of his mystical companion Nuri, starts a mission to find the source of the evil. What dangers will be in their way are shown in the video. The teaser trailer, footage and further information can be found on the official homepage at: http://www.satinavsketten.de.

In The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav players will witness a brand-new adventure in Aventuria and accompany the trapper Geron, who will be involved in an incredible conspiracy in the Nordic kingdom of Andergast. Andergast, where people have a strong tendency to superstition, has been at odds with neighboring Nostria for centuries, but now first steps are being undertaken towards a lasting peace. But the burgeoning peace and the euphoria of a royal festival are disturbed by a mysterious crow plague. The aggressive birds even attack humans.

As the belligerent creatures infiltrate even the castle itself, the king seeks a skilled bird catcher – an opportunity for young Geron to prove that the reputation for ill luck that has followed him since childhood is undeserved. However, the task proves much more difficult than he expects and leads him on the path of the greatest adventure of his life that will take him to the borders of the charted lands of Aventuria and beyond.

Hand-drawn locations in dazzlingly detailed HD, challenging puzzles, an engaging storyline and lovingly animated characters await adventure fans in this classic point & click adventure game.

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav will be released March 23, 2012 for the PC.
